Summary A principal of the firm, Attorney Kumiega received her B.A. from the University of Connecticut in 1985, and her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law in 1990. Since her admission to the Connecticut Bar and U.S. District Court for Connecticut, Ms Kumiega’s practice has focused on creditor representation in the fields of retail and commercial litigation, foreclosures and bankruptcy litigation. Ms Kumiega represents financial institutions on Real Estate Transactions and also practices corporation and business planning law. She has litigated cases in State and Federal Courts, including the Complex litigation docket. Ms Kumiega is Treasurer of the Tolland County Bar Association, and member of the: Connecticut Bar association (Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section Executive Committee), American Bar Association (Litigation Subsection), American Bankruptcy Institute, North Central Connecticut Lawyers Association, and Commercial Law League of America.
